Chain of Responsibility Compliance

The Chain of Responsibility is a legal framework that holds everyone involved in the transport supply chain accountable for safe road use. It’s designed to make sure that no one turns a blind eye to actions that could put drivers or the public at risk.

Non-compliance with CoR laws can lead to serious accidents, legal penalties, and damage to reputation. Beyond legal reasons, following these laws protects lives, improves safety, and supports the efficient movement of goods.

From planning and loading to driving and delivery, each party has responsibilities to:

  • Ensure loads are safely packed and documented
  • Avoid practices that encourage speeding, overloading, or fatigue
  • Follow load restraint and transport regulations
  • Act proactively to prevent unsafe behaviors on the road

By working together, we reduce risks and create safer roads for everyone.
